They may not mean much to you, but when I'm trying to debug a problem for you then having you cut-and-paste those properties into a forum post or e-mail is going to make life much easier. What I was going to say was this tool name is called Minecraft Structure Planner! Only reads maps, cannot write. The 3D view can be scaled, rotated and translated as you would expect. You specify how large an area you would like to design in, and how many layers you wish to use. When you start the application, does it bring up a dialog box saying that it can't find Java3D? I recently found this Minecraft Structure Planner where you can create plans for your creations in the application. It allows a user to easily generate double layer pixel art out of Minecraft blocks. Just select which texture you wish to use, paint on the grid with the left mouse button, and erase from the grid with the right mouse button. Furnace, chest and workbench need some love to, and don't need to be true to minecraft, using the same texture on all sides is exceptable. Torus needs inner radius, outer radius, height above center line, height below.
It'll now display and edit the correct number of layers when you generate a new grid. Something to note though, I cant get the command java -cp or java -version commands to be read, i get the message, 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
